Q: Is there an annual contract applicable for storage unit rental with Homestead?

A: There is no annual contract; we offer month-to-month storage units. There is a one-time $35 nonrefundable administrative fee at the start of any unit rental

Q: When is rent due for my storage unit?

A: Rent is due on the first day of each month. If you move in after the first of the month, rent is prorated to the first of the next month.

Q: How can I pay for my storage unit?

A: You can easily pay online by clicking the link, or come by our office.

Q: How can I hold or reserve a storage unit?

A: We make it easy. Click the link Reserve a storage unit or on our Homepage.

Q: Do you offer climate-controlled storage units?

A: Yes, we do! We offer a variety of sizes of climate-controlled storage units for your personal belongings that are temperature-sensitive.

Q: How is your self-storage facility secured?

A: We practice a variety of different security measures, including gated access and surveillance cameras, to ensure you and your belongings are safe while on our property.

Q: Is my property insured by Homestead Self-Storage?

A: No, Homestead Self Storage’s insurance does not cover any occupant’s property. Check your Renters or Home Insurance policy for your own coverage on your personal belongings while in storage.

Q: Can I store a vehicle at your location?

A: No.

Q: Can I use my storage unit as a shop or work out of my storage unit?

A: Unfortunately, no. This location is only for storing property.
